Research Facility

Our 20,000 ft² (1860 m²) research center is complete with a pilot plant which contains small scale equipment capable of simulating food processing operations, and an analytical laboratory.

The pilot plant and lab provide:

• A continuous snack production line for making prototypes or consumer test products, complete with batch and continuous mixers, driers, cookers, sheeting and extrusion equipment, baking ovens, and a continuous fryer
• A complete line of potato processing equipment, including peelers, cutters, blanchers, cookers, dryers and grinders
• A fully equipped laboratory and test kitchen for complete analysis and evaluation of snack products and dehydrated and frozen potato products.
• Sensory evaluation facilities with a trained in-house panel for evaluating appearance, texture, aroma and flavor of snack foods and potato products.
